This is the life

Today, as I took a quick gander on the facebook, inevitably, there were many comments about kids going back to school. I have come to believe that I am morally opposed to school starting before the long weekend, so, except for the 2 days the girls go to school, WE ARE NOT STARTING SCHOOL THIS WEEK! It is a beautiful day outside, about 28 degrees, and it just seems wrong to be inside doing school when we have winter for 8 months out of the year. As I type this, the Girls are outside, all wearing life jackets, playing in the sprinkler. Crazy, I know. It looks very funny, and I am sure that they are sweating their butts off, but whatever....they are playing some imaginary game, and I like it! It's one of the things I love about homeschooling. We planning a fun week of picnics, going to the river, and enjoying the last few days of summer.
